Why do we need your support?
ConservationDrones.org, a non-profit organization that has pioneered development and advancement of conservation drones, seeks to share knowledge of building and using low-cost unmanned aerial vehicles for conservation-related applications with conservation practitioners and researchers worldwide, especially those in developing countries.
Conservation Drones are low-cost unmanned aerial vehicles that could be used for: surveying wildlife, monitoring and mapping terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, and supporting the enforcement of protected areas.
What would we use your donation for?
- to build conservation drones for our partners in developing countries that can benefit from this technology
- to travel to the field sites of our partners to conduct training workshops on the use of drones
- to continue improving conservation drones by making them more rugged and portable, carry heavier sensors, and fly longer and farther
