We are excited to seek a Graphic Designer to help enhance our visual storytelling capabilities and improve the quality and appeal of our environmental journalism.
This position will play a critical role in producing data visualizations, maps, charts, and graphics that depict environmental changes using various data sources, including earth observation and near-real-time remote sensing data. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for finding, cleaning, analyzing, visualizing, and interpreting data to create compelling visuals for news articles, data-driven features, and videos. Due to our organization’s culture and global work-at-home staff, the most successful candidates are adept at working independently, produce consistent high-quality work, and think creatively about solutions to problems. This role requires strong analytical and technical skills, a refined design sensibility, and extensive knowledge of data visualization design principles and tools.
