The Program Director will work closely with the Mongabay’s CEO, Operations Manager, and Development Director to manage Mongabay’s rapidly growing team and execute on the organization’s mission to inspire, educate, and inform the public on conservation and environmental issues.
Mongabay-India
Mongabay is planning to establish a news bureau in India to do original reporting on conservation and environmental issues in the country. Content will be distributed via Mongabay, its social media channels, and third party outlets, including local newspapers and online media. Initially Mongabay will produce articles in English, but in time we expect to expand to other languages spoken widely in India.
We are recruiting a team to develop Mongabay-India, including a Managing Editor to oversee the initiative and a Staff Writer to produce original daily content across India.
