CONTRIBUTING EDITOR – SOUTHEAST ASIA

Mongabay.org is seeking a full-time Southeast Asia-focused contributing editor to manage English-language content related to the region. The contributing editor will manage articles from correspondents (including fielding pitches, commissioning stories, editing, and posting articles) as well as write occasional breaking news stories. The focus will be Southeast Asia with special attention to Indonesia but also Mekong countries, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea, and the topics covered will be related to environment and conservation especially focused on forests, oceans, wildlife, mining, logging, palm oil, infrastructure projects, and deforestation.
