Owen Reynolds is an independent writer with a focus on the intersections of economics, finance, energy and climate change. He has worked as a business development volunteer in Peace Corps Nicaragua and separately helped start Peru’s first sustainable construction company, ECOHOUSE. He is currently an Economist at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission within the United States Department of Energy (though he does not publicly represent the opinions of either the Commission or the DoE). Reynolds has a B.A. in International Business from Ohio Wesleyan and an M.S. in Commerce and Economic Development from Northeastern University, Boston.
