The main objective of the Tropical Conservation Science (TCS), an open-access academic e-journal within mongabay.org, is to bring to light, via publication of short papers results of research relating to conservation of tropical forests and of other tropical ecosystems. It also aims to provide opportunities for scientists in developing countries to publish their research.
