Translation and non-English reporting on forest issuesMongabay.org is currently funding mongabay.co.id, which provides Indonesian-language reporting and analysis on forest issues. Mongabay.co.id has four full-time staff in Java and a network of 15 correspondents in 12 cities across Indonesia. Mongabay.org plans to launch a Latin American web property later this year. Please return for updates on our progress. Mongabay.org also currently supports a translation program in about a dozen languages involving more than 300 volunteer translators. Translation and non-English reporting on forest issues is one of mongabay.org's priority programs. |
