I am an early career journalist. I have previously worked in beats like culture, books, films, health, education, retail, real estate, city life, inspiring people, etc. I decided to specialise in the environment beat, because I am very passionate about communicating the details of the natural world with which we have a deep connection. I have a Masters in Environment, Culture and Communication. I am interested in interdisciplinary, well researched stories and I aim to make environment journalism interesting for the readers/ listeners.

At Mongabay-India, I edit stories from contributors, work with the team for social media content, copy edit scripts for videos/ podcasts, and assist the Production Editor with everyday work flow and the copy style guide. Although my primary job is at the Desk, I also aim to write a few stories each quarter.
