Antonio José Paz Cardona

Colombian journalist and Master in Analysis of Contemporary Political, Economic and International Problems. I have more than 10 years of experience in journalism, during which I have worked on public order, armed conflict and environmental issues. I was a journalist for Semana magazine between 2012 and 2016, general editor of ‘Semana Sostenible’ between 2016 and 2018. Since 2018 I have been Mongabay’s editor for Colombia and Ecuador. In 2015 I received the National Prize for Environmental Journalism in Colombia for the special ‘Not everything that glitters is gold’ (‘No todo lo que brilla es oro’) published in Semana Sostenible.
