Aditi Tandon

As the Production Editor at Mongabay India, Aditi is primarily responsible for copy editing. She enjoys refining copies for quality, accuracy and clarity and ensuring all published content reflects Mongabay’s high standards and values.

Aditi has a passion for words, the nuances of language, and perfecting little details. She has found ways to exercise this passion for over a decade in her roles in journalism, communications and public diplomacy.

Aditi studied psychology and journalism, after which she received the Erasmus Mundus scholarship to pursue an M.A. in European Studies in Germany and the Czech Republic. She is also a fact-checking trainer with the Google News Initiative India Training Network. She brings her verification skills to her role as a copy editor and also tracks growing climate misinformation in India. Aditi is one of the fifteen fellows selected as part of Columbia University and Google News Initiative’s Newsroom Leadership Program in 2022.
