Alana Linderoth

Alana has over a decade of experience in journalism, technical writing, and nonprofit communications. She holds a degree in Environmental Journalism with a concentration in environmental science from Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment. Before to joining Mongabay, Alana was an independent consultant and led strategic communications and community engagement efforts for both nonprofits and government agencies. Alana’s interests include natural history, animals, hiking, cooking and traveling.
