Alexandre de Santi

Journalist since 1999, based in Brazil. Founder of Fronteira, an editorial studio, from where he freelanced as a reporter and an editor to some of the most relevant outlets in Brazil, both online and print. Wrote and edited investigative and in-depth stories, especially on science, environment, health, and crime — but also music, football, and food. Co-author of three books. Deputy Editor of The Intercept Brasil for four years, including the Vaza Jato period. Joined Mongabay in May 2022.
