Ashoka Mukpo

Ashoka is a writer and videographer whose work covers the contact points between the environment, poverty, and what we call “development.” Formerly a freelancer based in West Africa, he has covered the impact of extractive industries for over a decade, with his writing published in The Nation, Vice News, The Guardian, The Washington Post, and others.
