Samanta do Carmo

Samanta is a journalist who specialises in managing editorial projects, as well as developing business in the journalism industry. She has fifteen years’ experience covering Brazilian politics, including five years as a congressional correspondent. She has worked for media outlets including Último Segundo, TV Brasil, Congresso em Foco and Intercept Brasil. She is a former fellow of both the Women Leadership Accelerator programme, offered by the Online News Association, and the Emerging Media Leaders programme, offered by the ICFJ. Samanta also has a degree in philosophy.
