Mongabay is expanding its online presence and is seeking a community manager to build and maintain our presence across several community-building platforms, such as Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, and Telegram.
Coordinating with our marketing and program teams, the Online Community Manager will be responsible for engaging with the community, responding to inquiries and feedback, and ensuring that our social media accounts are up-to-date with relevant information and news. You would also be responsible for monitoring emerging platforms (e.g. Post, Spoutible, Bluesky, Lemon8, etc.) to see whether they might be aligned with Mongabay’s community engagement strategy.
